Project Brief

The project involved creating a new website for a non-profit senior home that provides care services for pre-qualified citizens. The primary goal was to modernize the existing website, which was over 10 years old, non-responsive, and outdated. Collaborating extensively with the client team, the project focused on promoting the donations page, integrating a booking feature for tours, adding relevant images and videos, and simplifying the content for enhanced user experience.

  • Designed a responsive website that integrated branding themes and showcased the organization’s mission and services effectively.

  • Implemented features such as a tour booking system, events calendar, monthly handbook and internal services to enhance user engagement and functionality.

  • Strategically designed and integrated the donations page to maximize visibility and encourage user engagement. Implemented intuitive donation forms and calls-to-action to streamline the donation process and increase contributions.

  • Collaboratively worked with the client to achieve the desired look and functionality, receiving praise for dedicated communication and expertise throughout the website process.

Challenges

  • Content Simplification: Restructuring extensive content and simplifying information while maintaining clarity and relevance posed a challenge in streamlining the user experience. Worked with the client to edit outdated information and focus on key messaging.

  • Feature Integration: Incorporating essential features such as tour booking, events calendar, and donations page required careful planning and execution to ensure seamless performance and functionality

  • Responsive Design: Tested mobile experiences across devices to ensure performance, especially with calendars, and booking features.
