Tri-City Transitions
Family Support Website

Project Brief
The project involved redesigning the website for Tri-City Transitions, a support organization dedicated to aiding domestic & family abuse victims in their journey towards recovery. The primary objective was to create a user-friendly and informative online platform that offers resources, assistance, and a safe space for individuals seeking support. Collaborating closely with the organization, the goal was to improve their online presence, integrate new features, and enhance accessibility for those in need.
Tools: Adobe XD, Illustrator & Photoshop
Key Roles
- Integrated the organization’s branding elements, including floral motifs from their logo, throughout the website design as background patterns and headline icons. Utilized these elements to create a cohesive and visually appealing theme that resonates with the organization’s mission and values.
- Developed custom sections, such as SVG-based icons with interactive color changes on hover, to enhance visual appeal and user engagement. Integrated features like an events calendar, newsletter signup, and partners bar to provide valuable resources and support for their clientele.
Challenges
Safe Browsing Experience: Creating a safe and secure browsing experience for visitors navigating the website was essential. Implementing features such as a safe exit button, and secure contact forms for helped address this challenge.
