Sorority Reunion Event Website

Project Brief

A new website design for Beta Sigma Phi, a sorority that wanted to promote an upcoming reunion event and provide essential information for attendees. The primary goal was to develop a simple yet informative platform showcasing key features such as the venue, itinerary, committee members, and quick access to the registration form. The design integrated branding elements such as a gold rose image and similar theme colours to symbolize the BC chapter, providing a cohesive and visually appealing website.

Tools: Adobe XD, Illustrator & Photoshop

Key Roles

  • Led client meetings and collaborated with the sorority committee to gather requirements and define project objectives.

  • Designed mockups and iterated based on client feedback to ensure alignment with the sorority’s branding and event goals.

  • Extended their branding theme to include a gold rose background graphic, appearing in multiple sections along with other patterns and textures.

  • Integrated a tabbed agenda feature to showcase important dates and times, facilitating easy navigation for event attendees.

  • Provided WordPress training for the client and created simple documentation for future editing, allowing them to manage the website independently post-launch.

Challenges

  • Event Information Organization: Structuring the website to present essential event details such as venue, itinerary, and committee members in a clear and easily accessible manner demanded careful planning and layout design.

  • User Accessibility: Ensuring that the website was user-friendly and accessible to all attendees, including providing clear navigation pathways.
